This is one of Megyn Kelly’s best ratings weeks all year.
O’Reilly averaged 2.71 million viewers a night — one of his best ratings weeks all year.
Bill O’Reilly’s lowest rating night (if one can actually consider it low) was Monday night with 2.61 million viewers.
O’Reilly’s biggest ratings night was Thursday, with 2.77 million.
Megyn Kelly may be beating Bill O’Reilly in the 25-54 year old demo, but she still has a way to go to beat him in overall ratings. She hit her high on Thursday night, with 2.24 million viewers, and hit her lowest on Tuesday night with 2 million viewers.
“For the past 30 years, Americans have not been protected from criminals coming into the country illegally,” O’Reilly said as he started his show.
O’Reilly went on to state that the city of San Francisco should be punished. He said that the sanctuary policies there allowed a criminal alien who’s been deported five times to be released from jail, walk free, and murder Kate Steinle.O’Reilly quoted California politicians who stressed the importance of deporting violent criminals, but have not spoken out against policies that allowed this to happen.O’Reilly also covered the vilification of Donald Trump over his views on illegal immigration. The Fox News star showed sympathy and an understanding for the reasons why illegal immigrants, especially from Mexico, come here. But he believes Trump stated a lot of true things, even though he could have stated them differently. But in cable news ratings, one thing can almost be guaranteed: Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly will, once again, rule the ratings week.
