The world's top athletes will return to London to compete in the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games this weekend - with Usain Bolt, British Olympic champions Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis-Hill all racing at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium.
The three-day event begins on Friday, which will see six-time Olympic champion Bolt return to the scene of his famous 100m and 200m victories three years ago and go up against a host of UK sprinters, including new British 100m champion Chijindu Ujah.
Farah will also be in action at the weekend and will start by competing in the 3000m on Friday evening as preparation for the World Championships in Beijing next month.
Ennis-Hill will run in the 100m hurdles on Friday, but is set to headline on Saturday as she goes head-to-head with Katarina Johnson-Thompson for the first time this season in the long jump, before running in the women’s 200m a few hours later.
The event will be hosted at the Olympic Stadium in east London, where the likes of Bolt claimed gold in 2012.
